Reach Out & Read

Provides new books to RMH Pediatric patients at their well-child visits.  Gently used books are given to siblings at the visit also.

Diabetic Education & Wellness

Funds are available to our Diabetic Education and Wellness programs for supplies and needs.

Building Leaders Together

Training provided by the RMHF for local 4-H Club Health & Safety Leaders to use at their meeting presentations.

  • To educate young Health and Safety leaders on pertinent health topics so they may share this information at their 4-H club meetings with all members.
  • To create a welcoming and familiar atmosphere between the Health & Safety leader and hospital.
  • To promote Leadership, Health and Wellness among young people in our community.


Annual Teddy Bear Clinic

Local pre-school children, staff, and parents tour various departments of Rush Memorial Hospital to familiarize the children to the hospital services.

Presentation to over 100 children about the dangers of Look-A-Like medicines and candy.


RMH Komen Community Breast Cancer Awareness Event

Free community event to promote the awareness of breast cancer detection and information about the Susan G. Komen assistance program and other cancer related services


Lights of Love

Community Christmas Tree lighting at RMH. Includes carol singing, lighting the outdoor tree at RMH led by the Rush County Youth Volunteer of the Year recipient, memorial luminaries, hot chocolate, free books to children, and more.  Event promotes families, friendship, and holiday fun.
