Each year, Rush Memorial hospital foundation hosts an event to honor local cancer patients and survivors. Funds raised go back to the community and support for neighbors who are battling cancer and who need financial assistance through the Brains Cause Cancer Treatment Relief Fund.

Remembering and honoring those in our community who have lived with cancer is important to our mission and goals join us to honor and remember loved ones friends and neighbors. Now, more than ever, we need your support to help our neighbors. Brian’s Cause Cancer Treatment Relief Fund was started in 2008 to help local cancer patients receiving treatment at Rush Memorial Hospital who are uninsured or underinsured ensure their treatment needs are covered financially, allowing the cancer patient to focus on their own health. Since 2019, over $36,000 has been distributed to local cancer patients.Generous donations from the community and proceeds from events like The Petal Project support this fund.
